Concreting of foundations
We offer solid and durable foundations that form the basis of any structure.
The use of modern technology and the highest quality concrete guarantees strength and safety. Concrete used for foundations must meet certain strength requirements, usually concrete of C20/25 or C25/30 class is used, which ensures adequate bearing capacity and durability of foundations. Concreting itself should be carried out continuously, without long breaks, to ensure the homogeneity of the mixture and avoid so-called cold joints that can weaken the foundation.
How does the process of concreting foundations work ?
1.
Preparation of formwork
Before concreting the foundation, it is necessary to install formwork to hold the concrete in shape and ensure its even distribution. Formwork can be made of wood, plywood or special steel systems such as Doka or Peri. The formwork must be carefully leveled and properly protected against concrete leakage.
2.
Concrete preparation
Ready-mixed concrete is delivered to the construction site using concrete mixers or concrete pumps, which allows for even and continuous concreting. It is important that the concrete does not lose its properties during transport – the time from its preparation to pouring should not be too long. Concrete used for foundations must meet certain strength requirements, usually C20/25 or C25/30 grade concrete is used.
3.
Pouring concrete
Concrete is poured evenly over the entire surface of the foundation. If the foundation has a large area, the concrete is poured in layers to avoid accumulation of the mixture in one place. It is important that the concrete thoroughly fills all the spaces and surrounds the reinforcement. Concreting should be done continuously, without long gaps, to ensure the uniformity of the mixture and avoid so-called cold joints that can weaken the foundation.
4.
Concrete compaction
After the concrete is poured, it is necessary to compact it using concrete vibrators. Vibrating the concrete helps remove air bubbles that can weaken the structure, and makes the concrete better fill the mold and surround the reinforcement. This will make the foundation stronger and more uniform. Vibrating for too long can lead to
separation of concrete components.
5.
Surface profiling
After the concrete is compacted, the surface of the foundation should be leveled and smoothed. This is especially important for slab foundations, which must provide an even and stable base for further work. Typically, concrete requires several days for initial
setting, although it reaches full strength after about 28 days.

Professional installation of formwork ensures precise execution of concrete structures. Thanks to the professional approach of Optimum Bau’s installation team, the formwork is perfectly matched, which translates into durability and stability of the entire structure. This also minimizes the risk of errors that can lead to costly repairs.
Optimum Bau uses the renowned PERI and DOKA formwork systems, which are known for their high quality, flexibility and durability. These systems allow fast and safe installation of formwork, which speeds up the construction process and ensures optimal results.
Both formwork systems are high-end, but differ somewhat in design and purpose. PERI is more versatile and flexible in the context of complex projects, while DOKA is characterized by simplicity and speed of installation. The choice of system depends on the specific requirements of the project, and our specialists will help you choose the best solution.
Floor restoration and polishing involves refreshing deteriorated concrete surfaces and giving them a new, aesthetically pleasing appearance. Polishing makes floors smooth, shiny and more resistant to wear and tear. This service is ideal for industrial, commercial and domestic surfaces.
Polished concrete floors are extremely durable, scratch-resistant and easy to clean. Their aesthetic appearance makes them perfect for modern interiors. In addition, thanks to polishing, concrete gains anti-slip properties and better resistance to moisture.
Optimum Bau specializes in complex concreting of structural elements such as stairs, terraces, columns, walls and floors. Our experience and precision ensure high quality workmanship, regardless of the complexity of the project.
Yes, foundation concreting is a key service in our offer. Our team specializes in the implementation of solid and durable foundations, which are the basis for stable buildings. We use modern technologies and high-quality materials to ensure the durability and safety of foundations.
The process of concreting foundations consists of several key steps: site preparation, placement of reinforcement, installation of formwork, pouring of concrete, and protection and care of the foundation after it is poured. Optimum Bau takes care of each of these steps, ensuring precision and high quality workmanship.
Reinforcement is the placement of steel bars in the structure, which reinforce the concrete, increasing its resistance to loads and stresses. Reinforcement of beams, stringers, columns and walls is a key element, ensuring the durability and safety of the entire structure.
Yes, we can make reinforcement according to your structural design, adapting to all requirements and technical specifications.
