Wall reinforcement
We offer reinforcement for reinforced concrete walls, foundation walls and load-bearing walls. With our solutions, your walls will be characterized by strength and stress resistance, which will increase the safety of the entire structure.
The reinforcement of the wall mainly consists of vertical bars, which are arranged according to the design guidelines. These bars are usually spaced evenly along the entire surface of the wall, ensuring its resistance to vertical loads (such as the weight of the building). The vertical and horizontal bars are connected to each other using tie wire, which ensures the stability of the entire reinforcement and prevents it from shifting during concrete pouring.
How does the process of reinforcing walls work ?
1.
Preparation of the reinforcement design
The process of reinforcing walls begins with an analysis of the technical design, which precisely defines the type of reinforcement, its layout and the diameters of the steel bars. The design also includes details on the location of additional reinforcement in sensitive areas, such as door and window openings or wall corners.
2.
Installation of formwork
Before laying the reinforcement, it is necessary to install formwork. These formworks create the form in which the rebar will be placed and concrete will be poured. Column formwork is usually rectangular or circular and can be made of wood, plywood or steel forms (e.g. Doka, Peri systems).
3.
Laying of reinforcement
The wall reinforcement mainly consists of vertical bars, which are arranged according to the design guidelines. Horizontal bars (so-called stirrups or split bars) are installed perpendicular to the vertical bars, forming a reinforcing grid. Additional reinforcements (such as special brackets or additional bars) are installed in the corners of the walls, where there are higher stresses.
4.
Joining and fixing of reinforcement
The vertical and horizontal bars are connected to each other using tie wire, which ensures the stability of the entire reinforcement and prevents it from shifting when the concrete is poured. Ties are made where the bars intersect. Before further work, it is checked that the rebars have been placed according to the design.

Professional installation of formwork ensures precise execution of concrete structures. Thanks to the professional approach of Optimum Bau’s installation team, the formwork is perfectly matched, which translates into durability and stability of the entire structure. This also minimizes the risk of errors that can lead to costly repairs.
Optimum Bau uses the renowned PERI and DOKA formwork systems, which are known for their high quality, flexibility and durability. These systems allow fast and safe installation of formwork, which speeds up the construction process and ensures optimal results.
Both formwork systems are high-end, but differ somewhat in design and purpose. PERI is more versatile and flexible in the context of complex projects, while DOKA is characterized by simplicity and speed of installation. The choice of system depends on the specific requirements of the project, and our specialists will help you choose the best solution.
Floor restoration and polishing involves refreshing deteriorated concrete surfaces and giving them a new, aesthetically pleasing appearance. Polishing makes floors smooth, shiny and more resistant to wear and tear. This service is ideal for industrial, commercial and domestic surfaces.
Polished concrete floors are extremely durable, scratch-resistant and easy to clean. Their aesthetic appearance makes them perfect for modern interiors. In addition, thanks to polishing, concrete gains anti-slip properties and better resistance to moisture.
Optimum Bau specializes in complex concreting of structural elements such as stairs, terraces, columns, walls and floors. Our experience and precision ensure high quality workmanship, regardless of the complexity of the project.
Yes, foundation concreting is a key service in our offer. Our team specializes in the implementation of solid and durable foundations, which are the basis for stable buildings. We use modern technologies and high-quality materials to ensure the durability and safety of foundations.
The process of concreting foundations consists of several key steps: site preparation, placement of reinforcement, installation of formwork, pouring of concrete, and protection and care of the foundation after it is poured. Optimum Bau takes care of each of these steps, ensuring precision and high quality workmanship.
Reinforcement is the placement of steel bars in the structure, which reinforce the concrete, increasing its resistance to loads and stresses. Reinforcement of beams, stringers, columns and walls is a key element, ensuring the durability and safety of the entire structure.
